Jungshoved

Jungshoved is a peninsula in the waterway known as Bøgestrømmen. The Marguerite Route, which connects all the most beautiful corners of Denmark, meanders through the area. However, it's easy to find your own path through this stunning corner of Zealand.

Jungshoved

A scattering of cozy villages with art galleries, ceramic studios, and great places to eat run by local foodies dot the landscape. This rural area, rich in bird life, features rolling hills crisscrossed with biking and walking paths. The pleasant coastline, with its dozens of inlets and bays, makes it easy to find your own private beach.

Præstø

Winding cobbled village streets, a centuries-old market town culture, and a cozy harbor bustling with life and restaurants in all price ranges. A pleasant beach, close to the town center, is just a two-minute walk from the ice cream parlor.

Eating out

The area is blessed with excellent dining options. Just around the corner from us is Muldiverset, a cozy farm shop with an innovative restaurant that serves some of the country's best open-faced sandwiches. Præstø boasts a rare Michelin star (Frederiksminde) and the new Restaurant Sommers, a seafood restaurant that also offers meat dishes. Additionally, there are charming bistros and cafés along the waterfront.
